ski racing intro and training sessions are always FREE for all athletes

equal slopes works to advance its mission through 3 action categories:

1) equipment donations and education programs on ski tuning and maintenance;

2) paying for and hosting intro sessions and training sessions;

3) scholarship programs for athletes with limited family means to participate in existing independent ski racing teams.

NOT OUR MISSION: 1. find the next Olympian (let’s keep our eye on the ball, folks); 2. waste money on admin staff expense (admins are all volunteers; the only folks paid are independent coaches for their expertise and specific time on hill); 3. save the world (such lofty ideals are reserved for avengers and religionists); 4) self-promotion (nothing here other than a human desire to expand the sport, get kids on their edges, and watch them whoop at the lateral acceleration
